DIY: Striped Panel Tank

I haven't really ventured out to men's wear, but I had a design idea and recently altered a Marc Jacobs Protect the Skin You're in shirt in to a Striped Panel Tank Top for men that can be worn simply on summer beach or layered for fall.

So you'll need:
1. two tops (it could be different prints that contrast in colors etc)
2. scissors
3. tape measure
4. pins
5. thread
6. Sewing machine

Measure and cut the pattern where you want the panel to go. Cut the sleeves too, to get the tank top shape.
Measure, cut and pin the striped fabric to fill in the space of the top.

 Should look like this.
Now do  the other side.
End result!
